Cooler Master today announced the QUBE 540 Stainless Steel, combining stainless steel panels with a chassis that adapts to different hardware configurations and workspaces. The case supports ATX motherboards, graphics cards up to 415 mm long without front fans installed, and horizontal or vertical placement. QUBE 540 Stainless Steel is available now on the Cooler Master website in North America.

This special edition uses SUS304 stainless steel panels for corrosion resistance and rigidity. Custom forming tools preserve the QUBE 540's geometry, while two surface treatments serve different purposes: an 8K mirror-polished exterior creates a reflective surface, while the interior's matte hairline finish provides a subtle contrast and helps make minor handling marks less noticeable.

Engineering the Stainless Steel Panels

Stainless steel places different demands on manufacturing than conventional case materials. Forming these panels requires dedicated tooling and carefully controlled processes., while mirror polishing makes surface defects more visible.

For the QUBE 540 Stainless Steel Special Edition, Cooler Master refined the stamping, bending and forming parameters across a 12-stage production process. Each stainless steel panel is formed as a single piece to reduce unnecessary seams. Cleaning between key production stages removes dust and impurities before the next manufacturing step.

The result combines corrosion-resistant panels with the QUBE platform's existing hardware compatibility and configurable layout.

A Layout That Adapts to the Build

The chassis can sit horizontally or vertically to suit available desk space. The I/O panel and carrying handle can be installed in four positions, allowing users to keep ports accessible when changing the case's orientation.

Cooling placement is similarly adjustable. The top, front and bottom each support a 360 mm radiator when the I/O panel is not installed in that location. An adjustable top radiator bracket provides additional installation flexibility.
